    The one time Helton should have gone for two, he didn’t. Sixteen seconds left, there’s no real difference between having a 4 point lead vs a 5 point lead. Two safeties aren’t going to happen, nor will a safety and a field goal. But a UCLA TD (with a missed extra point) could and almost did happen. Getting a 6 point lead would have been worth the try.
