Former Vanderbilt walk-on running back Samuel Oram-Jones will follow quarterback Mo Hasan and walk-on at USC this fall.

He has a fascinating back story, as he grew up in the UK as a racecar driver and didn't play American football until he was 19. He joined the Vanderbilt roster during the fourth week of the 2019 season and made the decision to enter the transfer portal this past April, and to walk on at USC this week.

I spoke with him this morning and will have a full story coming up.

If the scholarship football players opt out until their demands are met, or go to play in a developmental league, he might be our starting running back.

    OK with me.
