    According to the most recent mock draft put out by Baseball America, Marcelo Meyer, who signed with the Trojans in November, is projected to go first in the MLB draft in July. If true, a tremendous accomplishment for the young man. Barring some sort of major injury, it was always unlikely he would ever actually enroll. I'm sure the coaching staff knew that, but you have to pursue this type of kid, just in case. Good luck to the young man out of Chula Vista.

    He's not coming to SC. He was a Hubbs recruit too.
    Hammond is an SC signee from Texas, a pitcher, who would help. Most likely will sign.
    No other game changers on the horizon................
