Good to hear about a full pads practice.
Helton challenging the coordinators to be aggressive and play to win is good, but they should always be like that.
    I hope Tufele is OK.
Good news on Wole, but I think he should still be redshirted. The new rule comes handy here, play him in 4 games this year.

”Defensively, they run a nice 3-4 that funnels things to their two inside linebackers, who are their leading tacklers”.

Ok, so now that he notes this..... let’s see if he keeps trying unsuccessfully to run up between the tackles.

Will he add to the ILB season tackle totals.....or design some things to get outside the tackles?

    Hmmmmm........

If Wole can sprint test him out on special teams, he has 4 games?
    Fight On!

That would be Tee's play calling. Hopefully Callaway and Drevno have put together a decent run-blocking plan in order to open up holes for Carr, Ware, and Malepeai.

Tackle me this, tackle me that...
Why is Helton afraid of full on pads...

Wole passes the eyeball test but he still does not understand how to play the game. Carr does down too easily. In spite of his back issue, I've heard he does not like to put in the necessary work to be a great running back.

Nice that Wole's making progress, but I sure wish Daniel I. was close to coming back. Hard not to think about where we would be with effective blocking and pass catching over the middle from the TE position.

On a related note: slant passes to Vaughns and Pittman? What are those? (sarcasm)

On Jt's long pass, was it underthrown, causing the receiver to wait...or on the money?

    3 point win over WSU
    4 point win of Zona
    (14) point loss to Furd
    22 point win over UNLV
    (23) point loss to Tejas

The body of work says who we are.
Clay quoted a bunch of random stats about Colorado but never seems to have a big picture image of who the opponent is.

Tackles per game by a player? TD/int ratio of the QB. TREES. Clay there’s a forest out there you can’t see. There is no intuition of the reason why those stats exist.

It’s still Helton’s call, his game plan....he sets the table on what he wants.

If he’s communicating to media that the strength of the CU defense is up the middle, then he needs to communicate that same thing to his coaches. It’s not rocket science.

    Hey Garry,
Wasn't Tufele in an auto accident in the Srping or Summer too?
