USC was spread all across the field in various areas. and guys are going through things at different speeds. There was no consistency. Iowa, on the other hand, was incredibly structured. They came out in smaller groups and had equipment set up every 10 yards or so. They did a set of bands, a set of ladders, a set of hurdles and a set of medicine balls. Everybody going the same pace and got through multiple groups quickly. It's one of things that doesn't matter at all if the game goes differently. But when the game plays out the way it did, it's easy to remember that and assume it played a part. OC2SC, ScMafia, PickSicx and 4 others like this.

If this sort of sloppy laziness is acceptable to the school, why would any recruit with future aspirations come? And why would anyone that cares at all about the Trojan Football tradition spend a dime on tickets or even 10 minutes at the game, endorsing by proxy this situation? We get out the gate on talent but cannot sustain it because we are soft and do not have the stamina. Once they caught us we were through because as awesome as we are on offense we couldn’t stop an old man with a walker. Iowa has grit as do many other teams that beat us. BYU comes to mind, they never gave up. OC2SC, CrownoftheValley, ConquerorSC and 1 other person like this.

I don’t know if our coaches quit on us, but this lack of discipline is unacceptable. And to think Coach O could (should) have been our coach. Fuck you very much Pat. And this is Iowa....were not even talking Bama, Ohio St, Clemson. Clay is a fraud. OC2SC and PickSicx like this.

As chaotic as they could appear to outsiders, other coaches and announcers who recognized what to look for knew how well orchestrated everything was.

Helton is oblivious to them, and the end result shows on the field. If you can't even get your team lined up straight to do warm-ups, it's telling of what to expect from there on out. Precursor to a half empty coliseum next season. Keep the pressure on this incompetent AD by not attending home games next season. They saw a decrease of approximately $9M in ticket revenue last year.
