The Trojans are really going to need Rodriguez to step up and be a big time contributor soon. Wish him great success.

Did he end up red shirting, He's allowed to play four games and still red shirt.

I would hope he did. Makes no sense to not red shirt.

Hopefully the young man can come into his RS-FR year and have an impact like Big Sam Baker did on the 2004 National Championship team. Wouldn't that be a story to remember...???

He’s gonna do battle in the offseason and spring. He’s lost 26 lbs and is currently 319lbs. His biceps are 19” and his feet are getting way better. He’s drilling at RT currently, but things can change. He did redshirt.

If he were willing, I wouldn't mind seeing Anthony Munoz being brought in as a consultant, assist with the development of some of the young linemen the Trojans have coming in.

I like the fact that he takes up a lot of space. When he gets his footwork down he's going to be hell to deal with. Looking forward to seeing him in the starting lineup for years to come.

If Jackson leaves for the NFL then both tackle spots would be open. Jason is a natural option for one of those spots. I know Jalen McKenzie could slide over to RT as he played there at times this season (which would leave presumably leave Jimmons, Voorhees, and Dedich battling over the RG spot) but I can't really see him at LT. Jason feels like a better fit there. Other than Liam Douglass I'm not really sure who else could be an option unless one of the true freshmen is much better than expected right away.

That makes sense to me, I think Jason will be our next starting LT and if Jackson goes pro that should begin next year.

If Jackson comes back then Jason could possibly start at RT next year and McKenzie or someone else could stay at RT but it depends how the coaches see things.

Bernard Schirmer could get a look in Spring for the LT spot. He's listed at 6'6'' 290 lbs RS-JR. He will be going into his RS-SR year next season with three years in the program. At least he adds another big body for depth.
