We hate Oregon. We like SC.

SC can put Oregon effectively out of the bubble tonight with a win.

SC was down by 16-17 but has closed the gap to 8 points. 36-28 Oregon at the half.

Encouraged by the late run but without Porter not sure we can pull this out. I hope the Porter thing is resolved by the next game.

So Oregon doesn't have Bol Bol and Abu Kigab and the team simply isn't plain good. What's the spin on this one?

No spin. We suck. This is on Enfield and Hart. Cannot play zone against 3 point shooting teams. They have made how many 3s tonight. Yet hart continues to play zone. Why? We don’t recruit players specifically to play zone like Syracuse does, nor do we close out hard like they do. And everyone here knows how I feel about Thornton. How many times today and against OSU is he going to get blocked in the lane? He’s averaging 2 assists a game. WTF??

The spin has been pretty much the same for the last 50 years.

    This is USC basketball.

Wagner looks like a much better PG than Thornton. Thornton actually played well last week - then he craps the bed in Oregon - totally out of control. He needs to focus on staying under control and passing the ball - cuz he also can't shoot.
Zero power on this team - zero ability to play physical in the paint. Made Paul White look like Karl Malone.

Ha ha. True, true. But the knock on USC has always been “we play in the sports arena”. We’ve been in the Galen long enough, with enough top recruits to be this bad. True, last year we were robbed by usc compliance. Melton shud have played if Ayton was allowed to play. But how many times are we gonna be set back by injury and circumstances? May be time for the admin to get serious about sports. If not, stop milking us fans and alums of our money with the promise of a contending team in both football and basketball.

No spin. We lost on the road to a team similar in talent. I don't see us winning many road games this year. Basically I am only watching to see Porter play and even that is not happening.

Yes. Weaver is way better than Thornton But enfield keeps trotting him out there. It’s as if he’s saying, hey this guy played at Duke, he’s must be good. Time to sit him and allow weaver to develop. We ain’t winning anyways. If Thornton can’t beat out Jonah at the 2 spot, so be it.

Point is we lost by 21 to a team similar in talent. We were not in this game at any point past the first 10 minutes. May be time for Enfield and hart to leave.

Oh no way. Just wait until the four fantastic freshman arrive next year. They will revive Enfield's career...NOT!

I can see the team making a deep run with that kind of roster but that actually hurts Enfield's reputation imo because he will need to hope a Top 3 class pans out. Thats a lot of gambling that could backfire.

They all will be out 7 to 8 weeks with thigh contusions then get suspended for breaking a conduct rule. Then the will all transfer to a school near home

Agree. How could the floor have been approved? Admittedly, it seemed worse in the past, yet still a distraction.

We made some good runs under Tim Floyd who became a scapegoat and was sent away. Too bad. The man could coach, adjust, and inspire. I like Andy Enfield who's had a run of bad luck that must, must spill out soon permitting a solidly built, cohesive, uninjured, unscandalized, team. Could happen. You'd like to see the beginning of that possibility these next two months. Could happen.

What's the latest on Porter Jr? damn.....

I guess welcome to the world of high level recruits....imagine if this kid leaves after this season, after playing a few games....tease with talent, then poof, gone....
