    Explosive first step

Would like to see him be a Trojan.

Don't know much about him truthfully except the videos I have seen. But his explosiveness is noticed.

How do you rate SCs chances?

Good relationship with So'oto, so that's a positive. I haven't seen that he has any real ties to any of those other schools. Oregon has done very well in Arizona of late, so that's a worry. Texas usually does well there, too. Proximity to home seems to be a pretty big thing right now, and with no Arizona schools in the mix, USC is that program. I can see USC getting him if the Trojans go all out, but I think there is still time for everybody in the mix.

The Kentucky is a weird one.

Hopefully he doesn't see the lights of the SEC.

I know Mark Stoops was there at UofA but that was awhile ago. Don't see any coach on their staff with West Coast connections.

Trying to connect the dots here...
Maybe is an Ohio kid. I know a lot of Ohio transplants in Arizona

Brophy's a Catholic, all male private and the kids often times are looking for schools with a high end academic profile. Of the 4 listed, I'd be most worried about Texas. Wouldn't be shocked if Stanford slips in. Same school Trent Murphy came out of.

Texas has changed their recruiting strategy. Closer to what you see at Alabama and less what you see at Clemson.

Wide net instead of pinpointing players.
So you are going to see them in the Top 3/4/5/? with players but ultimately they are trying to keep the interest so they can pick the best.

Swanson is included here. They aren't ready to take his commitment.
If he wants to move fast it can help us.

Trent and his little brother Connor Murphy went to Brophy Prep! Although, I doubt Connor is going to help us much on the recruiting trail!
