"But this was not an impressive win and USC was pushed to the final whistle by an Arizona team that lost its starting quarterback and running back and five of its top six tacklers from last season, and was playing its first game of the 2020 season."

It feels good to win but we all know we don't deserve both wins. I believe we will get our just deserts next week. If we continue to play this way we will lose at least one.

I gag every time Helton opens his mouth with those stupid comments. The announcers see the problems why can't Helton?

Utah has had two games scrapped due to CoVid and has not played a game, yet. You’d have to think their practices are minimal or curtailed also.

    Helton may get lucky again.

Erik, do you think Helton knows how loudly the fan base and really from everywhere, are calling for his head? He certainly coaches as if he doesn’t have a care in the world....

Good games by Raymond Scott (who should stay as LB and play more), and the 2 Drakes.

Hufanga was missed when he had to come out.

I was glad to see JJ3 make his first catch.

    Slovis was clutch as usual.

The short yardage plays are getting ridiculous. The announcers seem to be more knowledgeable than our coaches. For crying out loud add QB under center and QB sneak to the playbook. And let Slovis occasionally run the zone read play and keep the ball.

The announcers were sounding like many of the Trojan faithful here on the board. I wonder what handle they go by.

At this point, I'd rather see them run wildcat with Amon-Ra or Bru taking the snap. Just put the ball in your best player's hands. Damn RBs are way too slow as well. Get Christon in there more and run some sweeps.

Our coaches need to spend alot of time on red zone and goal line offense. Horrendous. Maybe try a little under center once in awhile...

Red Zone fails. No fault to the RB's, there are no holes in short yardage plays. The OL are blocking very poorly; they are too high. They must go low and drive their legs hard. C. Drevno must practice the fundamentals of hard drive blocking (ole fashion sled blocking machines) mucho minutes. And, get stronger.

Graham Harrell better understand that 3 and 1 or 4th and 1, the opposing teams will send wide rushers in to stop our rush attempt. See this over and over again the first two games. Insanity! Also, see if we could actually run a sweep (Student Body left or right) to stack up the yards. So predictable on offense.

Slovis was off, off off the first half. He was throwing wobbly balls and I wonder if he has a finger issue. He was missing guys high and low and our oline doesn't protect well against stoudt compact dlineman (mostly samoan or tongan guys). Drevno isn't earning his keep.
