How do you keep Campbell off the field?

    Is Criston healthy and participating?

Dart has legs like tree trunks. Solid kid.

If the coaches are comfortable at all with his pass blocking, I don’t see how you can for the entire season. I don’t want to make seven spring ball practices count for more than multiple productive seasons, but Campbell’s vision as a runner looks to be pretty special and that’s a trait that can be tough to teach. A lot of his bigger plays are coming against the twos so there’s still plenty for him to prove, but I’ve been very impressed with him. And physically, there doesn’t seem to be anything to worry about him in how he’ll hold up.

Christon has not been at any spring practice.

Dart has legs like tree trunks. Solid kid.

Dart definitely looks the part and the coaches clearly like the way he carries himself. Seth Doege won’t make the decision on whether he plays or not but he helped recruit him and I believe he and Harrell are very like-minded when it comes to quarterback evaluations. Doege raves about Dart’s swagger and presence for the position during his media availability yesterday. The coaches really like his playing style and personality.

He's running track. Maybe he see's no hope of playing.

More of the same from Stephen Carr, even in practice he can't gain a yard. Looks like Ingram, Campbell, Vavae are literally running away with the job.

Pains me to think Chow would use KC like he did Bush. Graham is a preschool coach.

What is the nature of McCoy's injury this time?

He'd had a slight hamstring injury, but he's missed time due to health and safety protocols.

This a shame re Carr. He was so promising as a freshman. The impact of his back surgery shouldn't be minimized. I've been through 2. Wishing him the best as he wraps up perhaps his final year of football.

I wouldn't write Carr off completely. He's still running hard and I think he'll definitely be an asset in the passing game. But Ingram has shown an ability to be able to create yards where none seem to exist and that's not something we've seen from the backs consistently over the past couple of years.

Erik, who has been the most impressive walk-on so far?

I agree with this. When I saw Christon in the open field in 2019, his speed was a thing of beauty. He got loose a couple times and was in the end zone in the blink of an eye. I thought Christon did a good job when he was called upon, especially considering he was a true freshman. I don't see how people can be dismissive of him.

Vavae did quite a bit of that in last year's UCLA game. I guess that's what it takes for RBs in this offense - they need to be able to make something out of nothing.

As much as I want Carr to be the man for us, I fear his time has passed. He never regained his form after the back injury. It’s also time to step aside and give the rock to more capable backs such as Kenon, BC, and Keontay. Carr needs to focus on his academics (is he working on his Masters??) and prepare for the business world.
