Trojan tight ends are proving they can play a bigger role this year BigRex Points Member Joined: Dec 7, 2019 Messages: 450 Likes Received: 428 Oct 29, 2020 #1 No. Same old same old. USC tight ends caught 15 passes last year. This year, I'm penciling them in for 18 passes caught. You need a tight end if you want to dominate the line of scrimmage and run the ball. I don't think USC has any intention of that. USC will continually run out of 4 receiver sets and let the running game wither on the vine.
