    Trout is not ready for prime time yet.

    Still has to get in better condition, and apply technique.

    He has a ways to go before he gets into the active rotation.

    These are the kind of guys where not being able to watch practice puts a dent in our ability to cover the team. I guess I can understand coaches not wanting to take any chances of strategy or plays or whatever leaking out, but it was always great to be able to monitor the young guys to see how they were progressing. Not being able to do that during the season is a bummer.
