We will have a lot of tough decisions next year. Many more players than spots. Only 14 seniors. With normal attrition and early leaves maybe 17-19 spots. We will be turning down guys who will become ucla's top recruits.

I see about 11 or 12 in my top ten; another great day to be a Trojan!

Oliajah Griffin looks like a difference maker to me. Gotta make him a top priority.

I don't crunch numbers until after our juniors declares for the NFL Draft, but assuming we have the season we all want USC to have, we may lose A LOT of Juniors/RS Sophomores to the NFL; which would allow us to load up (again) on elite West recruits.

Sam, Cam, Jones, Biggie, Porter, Edoga are the only ones I think could leave. None are as automatic as AJ and JuJu were. I would think four is max. I would plug 5 on the 14 seniors as a reasonable number for leavers, for NFL, or other reasons. That would allow 19. But with the chance to play for a championship in 18 might keep more here.

Grew up in the 818, a life long SC fan. Have lived in Dallas/Fort Worth for the past 23 years. Especially during recruiting I follow this site and TOS for my Trojan fix. Below is a link to the top 50 prospects for 2018 in the DFW area. Can't understand the lack of a USC footprint with college choices. We have pulled Ware and Jones out of this area. The DMN ran an article right after signing day that 60 of the top 100 recruits in the DFW area left the state. A TX pipeline wouldn't hurt.

Two players of note whose names stick out to me:

Palaie Gaoteote - ridiculous speed. I have no idea how to pronounce his name, but I hope he comes here so I can see him play.

Colson Yankoff - I doubt he ends up coming here, but I would enjoy the chatter if he ends up in the PAC 12

A coach can only submit 5 names for consideration of draft status. Hard to commit without being one of the five.

Wow Scout has Amon-Ra over Jalen Hall. I think they are the only service that doesn't have Hall the number 1 WR in the nation for his class.

I love how many of those kids on that list are of Polynesian dissent. With our new-found success in getting these guys to come to USC, I love our chances with winning over their families.

We need a haka, and we need to get our guys out at midfield to do it, right before the coin toss.
