Why is it not surprising that a simpleton cannot figure out a POTUS can do more than one thing at a time?

Remember when Barry had a Beer Summit in the midst of an economic crisis?

Honestly, if you ran your business focused on only one thing all day/all night, you wouldnt have a business.

Countries that have already banned it:
India, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Malaysia and HK (ok , not really a country)

Countries in the process of banning it:
    US
    Australia
    Japan
    UK
And probably others we don't know about

Because this alcohol addled sub-mutoid troglodyte's brain cannot more than one simple intellectual task at one time. If he had more than 2 astrocytes working at a time I would be surprised. The brain strain would disable him. I guess he has never been asked to multi-task. LOL

He has this flowchart on his wall in case he needs it; he can only only go one step at a time.

Has anybody that understands technology looked at the "Clean Network" initiative that Trump is promoting? The initiative has been expanded to include the following:

The five new lines of effort for the Clean Network are as follows:

    • Clean Carrier: To ensure untrusted People’s Republic of China (PRC) carriers are not connected with U.S. telecommunications networks. Such companies pose a danger to U.S. national security and should not provide international telecommunications services to and from the United States.
    • Clean Store: To remove untrusted applications from U.S. mobile app stores. PRC apps threaten our privacy, proliferate viruses, and spread propaganda and disinformation. American’s most sensitive personal and business information must be protected on their mobile phones from exploitation and theft for the CCP’s benefit.
    • Clean Apps: To prevent untrusted PRC smartphone manufacturers from pre-installing –or otherwise making available for download – trusted apps on their apps store. Huawei, an arm of the PRC surveillance state, is trading on the innovations and reputations of leading U.S. and foreign companies. These companies should remove their apps from Huawei’s app store to ensure they are not partnering with a human rights abuser.
    • Clean Cloud: To prevent U.S. citizens’ most sensitive personal information and our businesses’ most valuable intellectual property, including COVID-19 vaccine research, from being stored and processed on cloud-based systems accessible to our foreign adversaries through companies such as Alibaba, Baidu, and Tencent.
    • Clean Cable: To ensure the undersea cables connecting our country to the global internet are not subverted for intelligence gathering by the PRC at hyper scale. We will also work with foreign partners to ensure that undersea cables around the world aren’t similarly subject to compromise.
I've never used TicTok, but I've been told that the proprietary data is limited to email address, name, and user credentials, the same data that many applications collect and sale. So, why this app and more importantly, why at a time with 5G specifications are being formalized.

As I review the list above, it appears that this administration is moving away from supporting open source towards regulating the technology "OSI" stack.

I don't understand why anyone would support this initiative. The only possible explanation that I can come up with is the US is so far behind in 5G technology that we are desperate to slow its development down.

For an administration that brags about its deregulation efforts, this initiative "trumps" everything that has been done.

The King of twitter is concerned about security. Official federal and military should not be using any social media, it is like conducting business on a walkie talkie. But Trumps life is all about twitter so it is ok. Tiktok is for entertainment and should be used that way, in fact that is the way it is used. Another case of starting a fire so he can put it out.

He gave Tik Tok a chance to work a deal with Microsoft to ensure a reasonable degree of security of US users private information, and it didn’t happen.

Apple has been banning apps for ideological reasons, particularly those from conservative organizations for years (it ramped up when Tim Cook took over) yet Tik Tok should be protected despite security issues?

The main difference here (other than the hatred of all things Trump) is that there is a legitimate security reason for banning Tik Tok until they can ensure that users data is reasonably secured and kept from the CCP.

Posters who refuse to acknowledge countries around the world also banning it...... no point in engaging with them.
