Shorts and shells today with another heavy emphasis on 11-on-11.

Talanoa Hufanga with another terrific read and interception, stepping in front of a receiver to intercept a JT Daniels pass and return it for a touchdown.

Jack Sears hit Velus Jones on a really nice deep ball over Adonis Otey.

Matt Fink delivered a really well thrown touchdown to Michael Pittman. Kedon Slovis hit Pittman for a touchdown as well.

Drake Jackson sat out practice today. Helton said he has an eye infection and was dilated today, but should be back soon.

Amon-Ra St. Brown also sat out. Helton said he has some hip/groin tightness so they gave him the day off.

At least they are practicing with shoulder pads. Maybe Helton is reading the forums ?
    Thanks for the report Erik.

Dayummm, Velus Jones has caught fire in this Air Raid! I hear Velus has added some wiggle to his game. Very nice ; ) Keep gettin' him the ball Jack.

Keep fighting JT! Jack ain't backin' down. Who wants it more?

Fang is Fang, no surprise he's taking over the DB show.

    Fight On!

I'm starting to get a good feeling about this team. If our defense can stay healthy and our QB play is good to great, we can definitely pull in 9-10 wins. Good thing we'll know quickly with this schedule?

Erik, is there any time table when they're going to narrow down the QB competition?

These big plays with VJ are making me re-think the season. If the “O” is all it’s cracked up to be , I think the “D” can hold the fort down barring injuries

    The only quarterback who wasn't mentioned . . .

Velus is making his voice heard. He's going to make 50 receptions this season.

The over/under for Velus touchdowns is 6.5. What are you taking?

    ASB is NOT soft...ever!

And since I know you were REFERRING to HCCH, give it a rest already...because RESTING ASB gives growth opportunities to Velus...and he’s making the MOST of it! Developing a legitimate 2-Deep is MUST!

    Fight On, FOREVER, Fight On!

Otey is young, but he has great speed. He'll develop into a good one.

It's not about ASB it's about the rest of the standing cast on the sideline injured (most of em not). HCCH is soft having so many out for "days off". I have to wonder what will happen in games when they have tightness.

My guess is that it won't keep anybody from playing. Why would it?

I still worry greatly about the secondary, and I think my concerns are well-founded. They'd better find a pass rush!

Which QB has made the least mistakes, or thrown the least INTs/TOs?

    That's my pick (pun intended).

We have enough talent at skill positions to keep feeding them the ball, don't want a QB trying to play hero ball, or do too much.
