The way that the msm has reported the news over the last 5 years, story after inciting story, it has been like yelling 'fire' in a crowded theater.

The effect on the public is irrefutable. We've all witnessed how the mainstream media has whipped up the ignorant, the gullible and the dyed-in-the-wool radicals into a frenzy of resistance against policies that would be in everyone's best interest (to varying degrees).

From this resistance has sprung unrest, racial strife, unruly/violent protests, riots, looting and all around degradation of our society as the constant slow rolling incitement of violence and unrest instigated the public to tear down our country so that eventually their people/party can build back the country into the Marxist utopia that their hopes cling to.

Even sleepy Joe says that you can't yell 'fire' in a crowded theater. At what point can the media be held responsible for their incitement of the public to feel unrest and even riot?

CNN, MSNBC, and the NYT are not even remotely close to being legit news agencies. Left wing propagandists more like it.

Where is actual truthful news found these days? Crickets. Everything is Opinion based and slants to control their narrative they want across.

Point of order -- depending on the circumstances, there may be nothing wrong with yelling 'fire' in a crowded theater.

Oliver Wendell Holmes, Jr., a little over 100 years ago, gave us in a First Amendment case "free speech would not protect a man falsely shouting fire in a theatre and causing a panic."

Not adding "falsely" to the adage gives the wrong slant.

Distinction noted. Other than those who have been indoctrinated by the constant mass media blitz of slanted information, it's pretty evident to the rest of us that the msm has been dishonest in their approach and delivery and the way it's become systemic, it isn't accidental.

That case is called by some to be one of the worst decisions by the Supreme Court.

The case was later partially overturned by Brandenburg v. Ohio in 1969, which limited the scope of banned speech to that which would be directed to and likely to incite imminent lawless action.
