I see that he is now making recruiting visits or at least involved in closing the deal. I definitely think a college level DC should be responsible for and accountable for evaluating talent and pursuing recruits who will be successful executing the scheme and recommending assistant coaches as well. If he's not willing to do that, then a change may be in order. Rodgarnay51, jjg4sc and SCBIGTIME like this.

Tee's philosophy is to score in the first quarter and then stall or turn the ball over in the red zone the rest of the game. If Tee is calling plays, you better have the '83 Bears defense. Glad to see Pendergast and Martin go, it's time. You can't just keep doing the same thing with the same coaches. Part B.....hiring strong, personable, identifiable coordinators. Do not screw this up! Was not a good look, just extra drama at a time when the team needed to come together coaching staff included. He is one hell of a recruiter and salesman, so maybe he can sell himself into a job like that! (No way) ....could totally see him hired in PAC12 as a recruiting coordinator but never an OC with actual play calling power. Rodgarnay51 likes this.
