Hufanga was named to the first team by ESPN, The Athletic, Sporting News, AP, USA Today and CBSSports.com. He made the Walter Camp first team today, which distinguished him as a consensus All-American First-Teamer. He is the 169th USC Trojan to be named first team All-American.

Congrats to a very talented and high energy player!!
He’s pretty tough too. Early in the cougar game he reached to help up an opposing receiver - the guy took a “no thanks” swipe at him. At that point it was like Hufanga said ‘so that’s how you wanna do this?’ Then took over that side of the ball while bringing the hammer, including the amazing tip to himself INT & leap over would-be-tackler highlight reel play that will be seen for ages!!

As expected. Kid was a star from the start. Great to see him get some recognition, hope he is a first rounder could see him going to the Jets, Steelers, or Patriots.

I didn't realize steampunk had gone so mainstream that they even have steampunk football recognitions now. Cool! ;-)

Always thought how ironic the following was when comparing his biography to Troy Polamalu: both Polynesian nationality, both played high school football in Oregon, both attended USC, both played Safety position, and now both are college football consensus All-Americans. Big steps to follow!

    Hufanga is fantastic.

Helton is the steamer. Sitting out there in a pile on the ground, just steaming it up week after week. Someone bring the pooper-scooper.

Seems like with every iOS update, the autocorrect gets worse. Although, I’d vote for Hufanga as a steampunk All-American

    Fantastic result.

Huge for him and meaningful for USC in terms of recruiting and a reflection on the direction the defense is headed.

Come again. What was that thing about him being a 3rd rounder?

Tackling and improvising play-making machine nonpareil. Late 1st to top of the 2nd. Hello Pittsburgh?!
