I think he should do a limited schedule on both venues... and spend more time with his family.

Age is a bitch. He should play the majors. Just like Jack and Arnold before him.

    Absolutely.

Young man’s game out there....he and Tiger don’t hit enough fairways, they are 20 yds shorter than the kids. It’s a by product of their swings, they release the club down the target line with their arms....modern swing releases the club more left with the body...Phil has a lot of early extension as well, not good.

Personally, I think he has earned the right to decide whether or not to hang 'em up. He won at Pebble recently. He has been near the top a few times. He ain't the Phil we knew....but he has a habit of making changes when he runs into problems. He ain't taking up that much room out there and I like seeing his creativity on some of the shots.

Growing up, I always thought Watson had the best shortgame, but I’ve come to realize, Phil has the best shortgame of all time. Incredible hands for a big guy.

You can win at any age. Every year it seems like Fred Couples competes well at Augusta for the first two or three rounds. It's psychological. And for Phil that means he really doesn't care that much anymore. His focus just isn't there, but it looks like he is capable of making a consistently decent enough swing. Just the sting of never wining the "Nicklaus Medal [1895-2012 had no name]" for the press is a talking point. I don't think he cares. BUT, he could be enjoying himself more on the other tour.
