    Erik,

Is the DL just that good, or is the OL just struggling to find any consistency?

The defensive line seems to be that good against this offensive line right now. Is it this good against other offensive lines in the country? I don’t think we know that yet. It’s always tough to gauge whether it’s good D or bad O, or vice versa. But what’s standing out right now is that I think the defense is playing better and with more swagger/aggression every time they go out.

We obviously aren’t breaking down film and aren’t able to watch every position on the line on every snap, but outside defenders consistently chasing down runners in the backfield as they go sideways continues to be a problem. I don’t know how much blame you can put on the linemen for that if those guys are actually unaccounted for.

I believe it was, but will stop short of guaranteeing that because I don’t specifically have that in my notes.

Ones virtually always go against ones. The defense will mix sometimes and today toward the end there was a group that had starters with walk-ons, but I can recall maybe once when I’ve seen a full set of starters going against backups, and that might have been more due to guys being out with injury.

Tbh, I wouldn't expect any consistency with the o-line until fall camp. A lot of moving parts there right now.

He was in there. Went with the second team at corner mostly. No huge plays or anything from him today.
