Could this be a signal for the Gold Club to re-open?

Clearly, he has for the most part not been negatively affected employment-wise after being fired by USC. How about dropping the lawsuit so everyone can finally leave the Sarkisian induced debacle behind? It's time, Steve. It's time to take full responsibility for your actions and just do the right thing. Drop the lawsuit.

OK, after shaking my head for a couple hours, I've caught my breath and I'm ready to comment beyond wow, just wow.

So Nick Saban (aka Satan) basically rescues Sarkisian and gives him a job as a consultant. Saban shows enough faith in him to groom him to take over for Kiffin as OC, and when Kiffin leaves he gets the job. Now, after less than 2 months later, Sark shows his gratitude (and his true colors) by bailing at first opportunity. The fact that he goes to the Falcons after a performance by Shanahan that will be second guessed for decades makes it even more strange. I actually liked the Falcons before this.

I don't wish people ill, but in this case I may have to make an exception.

It is because when it comes to loyalty and coaching philosophies, Sarkisian and Kiffin are cut from the same clothe.

Apparently SS had some disagreements with NS.
    Go figure.

Sark demonstrates "falling upwards" in this move. I wouldn't touch him with your 10 ft pole.

These clowns continue to fall up.

Atlanta will never see the SB, and will set the record for bubble screens, and their TE better start looking for a new team.

I wonder if PC recommended Sark to the Atlanta HC.

How much they are going to pay Sark, is he going to drop his lawsuit?

Sark kind of struggled against college DCs. Going against NFL DCs may not be good for his health.

Honestly, it felt like Sark was calling the plays for Atlanta in the SB.

My wife just told me about this. This is some funny shit. I don't care who you are. Payback is a bitch. Saban as I recall dumped the Dolphins kind of like this.

    This is how coaching works.

Saban didn't hire Sark to give him a second chance. He's not in that business.

He hired him because he is a highly respected OC.

I'm pretty sure he confirmed that Sark quit his drinking or at least had it under sufficiently under control

If Saban found a better option he would replace Sark

Sark found a better option and moved on.

Saban will find a new OC and the world moves on

Both Kiffin and Saban have the same agent. Is Sark a client as well? We always knew that Saban took Kiff in as a favor to his agent..wonder if the same thing happened with Sark so that he could get back into the game...and make some more cash for his agent.

Word is that Snark was not seeing eye to eye with Saban and Coach Pete recommended Snark to Falcon's HC Quinn (Pete's old DC). The hand of Carroll is far reaching. I still believe Coach Pete had more than a little to do with USC hiring Kiff and then Snark.

And it would seem perhaps 'bama is in the market for an OC as Locksley who had been promoted to co-OC with Snark after the title game is now simply listed as Assistant Coach.

And we wonder why teams from GA never win. Lose a close one in the SB and this is their answer?
