ROLL CALL....!!! norcal4socal Points Member Joined: Dec 5, 2017 Messages: 181 Likes Received: 138 Aug 15, 2018 #1 Puff, puff no pass. Who's ready for 2018 USC Football? What are you planning on doing when that day arrive September 1st? Who will you be with and where will you be? I'm anxious to see the Trojans display another competitive brand of football, game in and game out this season. Very simply "play to win" and put on a great show doing it. I'm presently plotting on BBQing a couple of St. Louis style cut ribs on the barrel grill in the backyard. Marinate will be envisioned closer to date. Dry rub or sauced, that is the question. At our "coffeetable-gate" party, me and the wife started for opening day of the SC football season. The first game was the 02-03 season, in our duplex living room on a 32 inch plasma HDTV. Now we watch from our home in the family room on the 70 inch LED E SERIES SMART 4K UHDTV. Times continue to change, but the game remains the same. Fight On! Of all the days it has to be opening day. So, have to watch game from home vs. at the Coli. Cause my entire family/ friends already know. When SC plays home or away....I don't go anywhere. No weddings, birthdays, parties, funerals, anywhere. I'm either at the game or in front of a TV. My wedding, children's birthdays, wife's birthday. All fall on dates during the off season. It's not that hard to plan ahead for football season. #truth CrownoftheValley, RPBSC, Dando16 and 1 other person like this.

Love that thing. The ribs should be an early dinner after a solid Week 1 win, before I settle in with some Lagavulin 16 or a crisp IPA to watch the Domers lose to Michigan in a thrilling 10-6 affair. But we will both be in the stadium at game 2. Fight on!

Grew up on rugby of course here but started watching football during HCPC days and been hooked on SC ever since! Here’s to a great season (and that the D and freshman phenom’s live up to all that potential!)

I'll probably throw some country style pork shoulder ribs in the crock pot with some Coca-Cola poured in to give the meat a sweet flavor. My wife will make her signature potato salad with a fresh pot of Peruvian beans cooked to perfection as our two side dishes. Some chips and homemade salsa for an appetizer. Some cold Modelos in the fridge. It's going to be a good day :) Fight On!!!! Merlin4SC likes this.

Two of the eleven will be dropping out after this season but the remaining nine will Fight On! And I plan to stop by the Bookstore to score one of those clear bags. Gonna haul in a bunch of water this year. In last year's season opener, I was cooling off in the 3rd Q by a shaded area close to the food-stand and I must have had this glazed look on my face as a Good Samaritan offered to buy me some bottled water. To whoever that was "Thank you friend!" for that very thoughtful gesture.
