    Astroturfing COVID Agitprop

    By Michelle Malkin
    Published April 21, 2021

Attention, parents: If your children are online, they are being bombarded by an inescapable public relations campaign by all the Bigs — Big Pharma, Big Government and Big Tech — to brainwash them about the COVID vaccine.

While children under 18 remain at the lowest risk of COVID-19, peer pressure to get the experimental jabs is enormous. That groupthink is compounded by relentless messaging from politicians, celebrities and social media influencers posting virtue-signaling photos of themselves flaunting their arm Band-Aids and immunization papers.

The playing field is rigged by internet titans who ban all dissenters and label all skepticism as "misinformation" or "conspiracy theory." It's mass agitation and propaganda — agitatsiya — that would make the old Soviet Marxists proud.

The 21st-century twist is that Silicon Valley, Fortune 500 corporations and their nonprofit organs are pouring gobs of money to manufacture support for the public-private COVID vax regime. The Ad Council alone — backed by major companies including Facebook, Google, NBC Universal, GM, Verizon, Walgreens, Walmart, Amazon, Apple and CBS/Viacom — has earmarked $50 million "to persuade skeptics to believe in coronavirus vaccines."

The businesses and public relations agencies work closely with the Biden administration's U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on crafting Big Brother-approved content.

The Ad Council bragged in January that its COVID-19 vaccine promotions had already resulted in "38.9 billion impressions, $424.7 million in donated media value, and 31.8 million visits to Coronavirus.gov." Even SpongeBob SquarePants has been enlisted to entice elementary schoolchildren to parrot the "safe and effective" mantras in "news" segments aired by Nickelodeon (the children's network owned by Ad Council funder/partner CBS/Viacom). There's no mention, of course, of side effects, vaccine injury reports or risks to those with allergies and autoimmune diseases — let alone the importance of family sovereignty, freedom of conscience and informed consent.

The agitprop architects are also bribing Instagram stars and TikTok personalities to urge their thousands or millions of impressionable young fans to inject themselves with pharmaceutical products that are 1) still in the investigational stage and 2) which are shielded from liability at every step of development. Neither of those facts ever finds its way onto the influencers' feeds, of course.

Your kids should know that their favorite Disney stars, Twitch video gamers and even "Sesame Street" characters have been recruited to pimp the COVID-19 vaccine. One Instagram star and fashion blogger with 409,000 followers, South Carolina entrepreneur Whitney Rife Becker, spilled the beans on how "two vaccine campaigns paying thousands of dollars" had contacted her to "go and get the vaccine and record it and take a selfie while getting the vaccine." She was asked to tell her followers how "excited" she was to take the vaccine and to gush about "how much she would be able to do" once she submitted to her shots. She was promised that an unnamed entity would "put money behind" her Instagram videos or photo posts if she boosted the COVID vaccine.

Becker rejected the offers, but many others have accepted the bribery. Sometimes, the quid pro quos mean cash. In other cases, the rewards mean VIP treatment. In Florida, Miami's Jackson Health System threw vaccine parties for social media influencers who agreed to write positive posts or produce videos about getting the Pfizer vaccine. While there was "no payment made to any influencer," the Internet stars and their "plus ones" moved to the head of the vaccine appointment line. "Each influencer will be allowed to bring one spouse, partner, or relative who meets Florida's eligibility requirement" to the party, health officials informed a select group of social media stars.

Joe Smyser, the head of a nonprofit called "Public Good Projects," told Politico his outfit pays "microinfluencers" to post about getting the COVID vaccine and compensates them "anywhere between tens to hundreds of dollars." The Oklahoma City-County Health Department has paid 35 young social media stars undisclosed sums to post government-approved COVID vaccine content and convince their peers that they need the shots to return to "normal" life.

This pay-for-play racket stirs fear, incentivizes herd thinking, stigmatizes independence, fabricates narratives, and facilitates subjugation of our young. The most important thing parents can do to keep their children free and healthy is to block their exposure to the Astroturfed COVID agitprop campaign altogether.

Detox, deactivate, and deplatform them before they deplatform you. In a word: Unplug.

Who has the spine to gut the FBI. Trump wouldn’t do it and we won’t see a fighter like Trump again for a long time.

South Dakota’s governor on Wednesday announced she took executive action to ban vaccine passports, or proof of an individual being vaccinated against the virus that causes COVID-19.

Gov. Kristi Noem, a Republican, said the executive order she signed aligns with making sure South Dakotans are able to exercise their freedoms.

“Since the start of the COVID pandemic, we have provided the people of South Dakota with up-to-date science, facts, and data and then trusted them to exercise their personal responsibility to make the best decisions for themselves and their loved-ones. We’ve resisted government mandates, and our state is stronger for it,” she said in a statement.

“I encourage all South Dakotans to get vaccinated against COVID-19, but we are not going to mandate any such activity. And we are not going to restrict South Dakotans’ exercise of their freedoms with un-American policies like vaccine passports. In our state, ‘Under God, the people rule.’ And that is how we will operate for as long as I am governor.”

Vaccine passports are documentation, paper or digital, that enable people to show proof that they’ve been vaccinated against the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus, which causes COVID-19.

Discussion is taking place on requiring such proof at various venues, which would be “discriminatory treatment” against people who haven’t gotten COVID-19 vaccines, Noem’s 3-page order states.

“Any rationale for imposing public health restrictions that limit freedoms should be tailored to mitigate a verifiable, scientific risk,” it said. “Implementing a vaccine passport program could lead to unjustified, non-science-based restrictions on travel, speech, association, and other civil rights.”

The order bars state agencies, departments, boards, commissions, and other entities or officials under the governor’s control from requiring a person to present a COVID-19 vaccine passport in order to enter a government building, receive a government benefit, or do business with the government.

The same set of entities are barred from requiring that private businesses mandate a passport.

In addition, local governments are advised not to require or order businesses to require proof of vaccination.

The order provides clear exemptions for nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and long-term care facilities.

South Dakota has vaccinated 53 percent of its population against the CCP virus, according to the latest figures shared by its Department of Health. About 4 out of 10 residents are fully vaccinated.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, Montana Gov. Greg Gianforte, and Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey, all Republicans, recently issued similar passport bans.

However, some other states are exploring the possibility of requiring proof of vaccination.

Officials in Hawaii, for instance, said earlier this month that they are looking into requiring proof of vaccination for people traveling between islands in the state.

“I think that makes a lot of sense,” Hawaii Lt. Gov. Josh Green, a Democrat, said. “It would immediately empower probably about half of our travelers inside the islands to travel safely.”

Venues in New York state have also begun requiring proof of vaccination.

The White House has said that the federal government will not mandate vaccine passports. The World Health Organization also recently came outagainst the passports, at least for now, citing concerns that such requirements would disproportionately impact groups like pregnant women and the poor.

    Bad news for racists....

A group of 21 black leaders defended Georgia’s recently passed voting law in a letter to Senate Judiciary Committee members on Tuesday, calling the criticism of such laws a campaign to sow division and misinformation as part of a broader agenda by the Democrats to nationalize voting laws.

“It has become clear that even well-intentioned critics of the law simply have no idea what the law is,” the community leaders wrote in their letter (pdf) to the senators.

“It is clear they have no idea how favorably Georgia’s new law compares with most other states—including President Biden’s home state of Delaware. And it is clear they have no idea that a majority of black voters across the country support the key provision under attack by critics—the simple requirement that voters be able to identify themselves when voting. This is the same simple requirement needed to pick up baseball tickets or board a plane,” the letter continued.

President Joe Biden and his administration criticized the recent Georgia voting measure as a racist effort to suppress votes.

“The Georgia voting law—like so many others being pursued by Republicans in statehouses across the country—is a blatant attack on the right to vote, the Constitution, and good conscience. It’s Jim Crow in the 21st Century—and it must end,” wrote Biden in a March 26 Twitter post.

The White House did not return a request for comment on the president’s remarks on Georgia’s new voting laws.

“Instead, critics of the law have substituted passion for reason, hysteria for judgment,” the leaders wrote to Sens. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) and Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa). “They have launched a despicable smear campaign against supporters of the law and economic reprisals against the state of Georgia—punishing the very people they claim to champion. They have tarred with the brush of racism people whose only sin is a desire for confidence in our elections.”

The letter was sent the same day the Democrat-led Senate Judiciary Committee held a hearing entitled: “The Latest Assault on the Right to Vote.” The meeting addresses state legislatures introducing and enacting new voting laws, which Democrats are calling an assault on voting rights and Republicans are saying secure the voting process.

Rep. Burgess Owens (R-Utah) testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Tuesday and called the comparison of Georgia’s new voter law to Jim Crow laws “outrageous.”

“But as someone who’s actually experienced Jim Crow laws, I like to set the record straight on the myths regarding the recently passed Georgia State law, and why any comparison between this law and Jim Crow is absolutely outrageous.”

“In addition, Jim Crow laws like the poll tax, property tests, literacy tests, and violent intimidation at the polls made it nearly impossible for black Americans to vote. The section of the Georgia law that has brought so much outrage from the left, simply requires any person applying for an absentee ballot to include evidence of a government-issued ID on the application,” continued Burgess.

Jim Crow laws were state and local rules enacted in the south by Democrat-dominated state legislatures to disenfranchise black people and prevent them from making political or economic gains.

Heritage Foundation President Kay Cole James said in a Youtube video that she has a personal stake in the right to vote and would not do anything to jeopardize minorities’ ability to go to the polls.

“Growing up as a black teenager during the 1960s, I knew the tremendous sacrifices and dangers that my friends and relatives endured to secure the right to vote for black Americans,” James said. “So, let me be perfectly clear: I have zero interest in suppressing the vote of any portion of the population.”

“But that’s not what’s happening in Georgia or other states pursuing election reforms,” she continued. “Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.”

The black leaders assert that the Democrats’ real agenda behind attacking states’ voting laws, like the one in Georgia, is to have the federal government take control of the nation’s voting rules.

“The real agenda behind these attacks on Georgia’s new election law and the smears against supporters of voter identification is to create the political environment for a sweeping new power grab by folks in Washington,” the leaders write.

The letter is referring to the Democrats’ H.R. 1, a broad piece of legislation passed in the House in early March that would federalize and make permanent many of the election reforms adopted as temporary measures in 2020 because of the pandemic.

“A little provision where taxpayers will be forced to subsidize the campaigns of the very politicians now supporting HR1,” the letter states about the Democrats’ bill, “What a massive conflict of interest.”

“Political agendas that have nothing to do with enhancing election security and voter access are involved. If we sincerely hope to make it easier for all Americans to vote and harder for those who want to cheat, attacking the people of Georgia is not a solution,” the letter concludes.

Besides James, some of the others who signed the letter, are former ambassador to the United Nations Human Rights Campaign, Ken Blackwell; civil rights leader, Dr. Alveda King; former Georgia State Rep. Vernon Jones; the chairman of the Texas GOP, Col. Allen West; North Carolina Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson; former Small Business Administration advocate, Bruce LeVell; former Florida Lt. Gov. Jennifer Carroll, former Indiana Attorney General Curtis Hill.

Maybe the USPS can finally go broke. Oh wait, I’m sure they will receive billions from the “COVID” payoff.
