This is big: Even Oregon's recruiting beat writer is sensing the momentum as well and thinks we are now the favorite:

"A lot of "Justin Flowe to USC" buzz out there today. It's loud - and confident. USC has gone from out of top 4 to into top 4 to, I think, the presumed (slight) favorite entering early signing period. We'll see..."

That's my understanding as well. I believe his was the first fax in on LOI day. Pete slept in his office and was as excited as a kid on Christmas morning when the faxes started rolling in.

If this kid wants to play in the NFL, he'd be a fool to go to SC. Clancy is where talent goes to die. No development, no draft picks.

For a school like USC in a location like Southern California, I don’t see how the pitch would be

“Come to USC and be a part of the first class rebuild this program to national prominence!”

If Herman could get Ed Oliver (5*) to buy in and come to Houston, Helton SHOULD be able to land enough quality prospects to continuously land the best recruiting class in the PAC-12

Bright side. Baxter today said his job isn't guaranteed going into next season. I'm sure that's applies to Clancy too.

We cant miss on a talent like Flowe in our backyard though. PG, Flowe, and Drake... then with Jay and Marlon coming back. Wow.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned from this whole fiasco, is not to pay attention whatsoever to any “insiders” of any kind. Only when I see it on ESPN, not the ESPN local offshoots, but until I hear the “dada da dada da” alert on my phone. Only then will I believe.

The only thing that matches my love for USC football is my disdain for Oregon Football.

Therefore, I will breathe a sigh of relief if he goes anywhere other than Oregon.

Signing with USC would be a huge unexpected bonus.

Chances would have been better had USC already axed Pendergast.

I regretfully feel a 75% chance he is Oregon bound.

I would not be surprised if there were some under the radar illegal inducements to make him a fu#@ing Duck.
I suspect Oregon would not be where they are today without Knight and Gates, including basketball.

No insider......I believe he will go to Oregon......because that is what I would tell my son to do if he had Flowe's talent.

Flowe was much more dominant in HS than EA was. Flowe is so much more aggressive and faster. Watch EA HS game against MD he was not very dominant, if i can recall he only made 2 tackles. Flowe is in a while different level, very similar to a Mauluga and Cushings game

man, some of the comments by supposed SC fans...

even at the lowest turn in the history of USC, I’d never tell my son to go elsewhere if he had the talent of a Justin Flowe. If he was kid that really needed the utmost best coaching just to have a chance to make it to the nfl, then maybe I’d tell him to go to Bama or Clems or Lsu. But with a Flowe, Claiborne, Seau, Rey Rey, Cushing level of talent... go to USC no matter who the coaches are!

    Because, we are still U...S...C...!!!

So how did he develop Uchenna Nwosu who supposedly didn’t have can’t miss talent? You don’t know what you’re talking about.
