He can't yet. He needs to finish up and get his degree.

Is this a requirement to coach at USC?

If I'm not mistaken, this is a NC2A thing.

Two things. SC doesn't have a single commit in the top 300 and no recruiting service even has SC listed in Flowe's schools on interest.

Flowe's said his final 4 are Miami, Clemson, Oregon, and USC. 247 also has SC in his top 4:

Flowe’s lil brother is also a high value recruit and they were both just at the official visit to ‘SC. Hopefully the lil bro wants to play locally, too.....his “vote” could matter.

There's a better chance that wild monkeys will fly out of my ass, and I haven't eaten much for days. Would you commit to USC right now if your professional career was at stake? That's what I thought.

Haven’t heard anything substantial in regards to USC reaching out to Claiborne at this point. Not saying it won’t ever happen, but there clearly wasn’t an immediate and serious contact made by Helton/USC when Claiborne stepped down from his head coaching position at Calabasas.

He’s referring to Chris Claiborne. If Flowe decides to come to USC, Helton would be advised to make the hire. Claiborne is one who can show Flowe how to be a dominant LB and get to the next level. Don’t blow this Helton!

It’s still SC. Staff come and go. USC degree with its heritage and tradition can’t be denied. Even this mediocre staff could pull a miracle and land the Flowe. They just have to highlight the 55, and the long list of great LBs that have come out of SC. Especially the list of 55s.

But how long has that list been in the past four years? How many great linebackers can we boast now? I'm sorry, but we have way too much undeveloped talent at linebacker on our current roster. Results matter and Flowe is not going "coach" on Spirit Airlines when he can fly first class on Qatar Airways.

I mean if we wanna talk which school has put more guys in the NFL of late between oregon and usc.... I think the cardinal and gold in their "down years" are still doing alright in comparison 13 drafted to 6 in the last 3 seasons.

Though I think Oregon is probably the leader, it is very compelling that he has suddenly listed Sc as one of the schools AND made his last visit to SC. After reading that article aaa to how important the number 55 is to him, I can only imagine that he probably spent a lot of time as a kid visualizing himself wearing that number for the only team where that number means anything. It doesn’t matter, IMO, that we don’t have a strong linebacker group right now. If we did, that number might not be avAilable. Though I still think he is Oregon bound, I will not be surprised if he ends up a Trojan

I hate to get my hopes up, but I still see SC as SC. You go to Oregon, you’ll have nothing to hang your hat on 10 yrs from now. When was the last time they won a natty? SC will have down years and even then, we go 8-4. But when we’re back...and we will be back. I’d take SC and the degree, tradition, greatness, and best looking uniforms and song girls on the planet.
