Football aside hope widespread fires haven’t got into your neighborhood. Even in coastal area like Seal Beach I am postponing walks due to smoke.

I was up at Grant Lake this past weekend, and the smoke from the Creek Fire near Fresno was so bad it was like sitting downwind next to a campfire.

We have friends who own a ranch 2 hours northwest of Sacramento and they heard the pollutant level in Chico was over 600. The Air Quality Index guide only goes to 500. Crazy. Here in the Reno Sparks area it's pretty smoky, but the smoke is coming from the northwest and not the Fresno area.

I ride my bike up and down the coast from Seal Beach and I’ve also cancelled my daily rides. If I smell smoke I’m not riding anywhere.

I am a dumbass for washing my SUV the other day only to wake up the next morning for work with my car covered in ashes. My wife wanted to go to the local swap meet in Tulare yesterday which I emphatically said NO!

LOL--Washing your car never pays off. Its always before a surprise rain storm or some swarm of birds dive bomb it right after.

All is well here, no covid issues, BLM is a joke when they flexed over here, both my wife and I have our CCW, lots of new guns, many old friends moved here in last year, and just enjoyed our 35th anniversary.

Yup, all good here. Got evacuated briefly, but back the next day... however, I'm more than convinced fire danger>COVID danger. Seriously.
