SC favored by 22.5 over the Pilots (1-0).

hopefully no piss poor first half performance this time so some of us don’t end up at the Cedars-Sinai cardiology department

Not exactly a piss poor performance but it's a tight game. 3-point defense for either team is non-existent

SC leads 41-35 at the half.

I wish I would have taken the 22.5!

There, hopefully I jinxed it like last game and we win going away!

    SC starting to pull away

SC defense has allowed 12 3 pointers - to Portland

Man weak ass 1st half performance again. I'm game for these W's but sheesh it'd be nice to have a complete game.

Enfeld is playing a ton of guys right now. Playing time once PAC starts will be a bit different.

You just take as many non conference wins as possible right now. Great conference win tonight with Washington beating Baylor. Those are the type of wins the PAC didn’t have last season thus very few NCAA Tournament bids.

Rakeovic had a better night. A lot of kids got minutes just like last game so that’s a plus. Fight on!

We are playing a lot of newcomers, be patient.

    Things to consider:
The strength of the team are players who were in high school last year.
Other than Rak and Mathews, everyone is new to playing together.
We don't have experience at PG which will be a problem for the whole season.
But there is a lot of talent which hopefully overcomes these points.

I believe that Anderson will solidify the point as the season goes along. He makes passes that the others don't even see as opportunities. Just needs the experience.

I'm not saying that he doesn't have a really good future, but learning on the job isn't what this team needs based on my previous points. And how much time at PG will Anderson get?
Are you going to reduce Weaver's minutes who is the starting PG? If you play Weaver at the SG, what do you do with Adlesh, Mathews, and Utomi? Utomi can play SF.

The team has talent but needs time to jell
Anderson was a find at PG for he is a true pass first PG
Just need to improve the shooting and decision making
This bunch of guys have depth and potential

He’s already a huge upgrade compared to last year. He’ll be fine over time.

It will be interesting to see how the PG minutes are divided between Anderson and Weaver when the Pac12 conf games start. Do you play them together? If so, do you have enough outside shooting on the floor, you would be leaving some good shooters on the bench.
