Petros had an interesting take on the situation. BigGuard Junior Member Joined: Aug 24, 2017 Messages: 353 Likes Received: 642 Dec 4, 2019 #1 His whole show was basically dedicated to this disaster. I'll summarize: 1. It's not so much Bohn, but rather "the swamp" that is the USC athletic department. 2. All the admins and people in charge of football and the athletic department have been there through Kiffin, Sark, and now Helton. 3. It's all about them working to maintain their privilege and power. 4. Any new coach worth his salt would want control. That means his own people to run the show. 5. Helton is an amicable stooge that those in power can use to keep their power. I actually agree with a lot of what he states. Through all of the scandals, from sanctions to the recent bribery, there has not been any sort of cleaning out of the people in charge. It's actually unbelievable if you think about it. Any public corporation with shareholders would have had a revolt by now and full sale turnover of staff. Tim Tessalone (SID) will be there until the day he dies and so will everyone else. USC is there own personal country club and they're not going to let anything (even a winning coach) interfere with that. Trojan Man 30, Peete2Affholter, TheTrojanKnight and 25 others like this.
