Pac-12 football schedule is released, USC to open the season against UCLA

    I think it would be fun, and we discussed it at length in the podcast today, but I think it’s far more likely that game gets postponed to the bye week in October or the open date in December.

    Not a big fan of all the CA schools to open. I'd have liked to see Stanford near the end of the season or before a bye.

    Interesting schedule. It does make sense to get the games where teams travel only a short distance played first, or at least put them where they can move them later.

    A rivalry game opener isn't all that unusual in CFB. IIRC Iowa and Iowa State have done it, as well as Colorado and Colorado State. So, while it's likely to result in a somewhat sloppy game, it's still an interesting and intense beginning of a (most probably truncated) season.
