Oregon director of High School Relations Don Johnson Jr. tweeted today: “Last time I checked ‘The West’ is bigger than LA County.” He included a map of the Western United States.

This comes after Arizona State coaches also took shots at USC for its “Take Back the West” recruiting tag line.

These USC coaches won’t be afraid to talk a little bit when it comes to recruiting, but other programs have really enjoyed the last two years and aren’t going to give USC an easy path back to the top.

Oregon is like that guy that grew up poor, talked about being poor and the moment he becomes rich, he starts bragging about his wealth to the point it's obnoxious. I hope USC can return to national prominence so these clowns can disappear like pre-2010.

This is the attitude that makes me loathe the quacks like I do. They have a few good years, then they get all chesty. Of course, geographically speaking, the West is more than LA County. That being said, good luck fielding a team without kids from LA. You guys would never win more than 6 games a year. Ever.

Oh, don't worry. We're starting with LA County first, then we'll move our way up and down the coast.
The fact that they're trying to call us out means our new staff is killing it in recruiting.

To do that, Phil Knight must disappear or retire from the recruiting scene.
