Sure would be a nice change of pace if somebody were to be decisive and move on from the poor performers on the coaching staff and make the new hires as quickly as possible. Not only do the new coaches need to be very solid as coaches, they will also need to be outstanding recruiters as well....

I can't recall one time an OLBer in this putrid defensive scheme has ever set the edge. I honestly think any opponent could have run sweeps every down and scored 40+ on this defense. Throw in a few reverses and make it 60+. Most teams did us a favor when they ran up the middle or tried to be balanced with inaccurate QBs.

    DeForest who?

Was he even on the coaching Staff?

I couldn't tell by the lack of LB's in this recruiting class.

Going from LB coach at SC to safeties coach at NC state is at best a lateral move. He left because his job was not safe.

His resume is mostly working with ST and should of been the ST coach instead of Baxter

Don't let the door hit you in the butt on the way out Joe! Don't remember too many accolades about our linebacker play, unless it was how well they tackled 10 yards beyond the line of scrimmage, oh that's right most of the time they missed the first, second and third tackle! Whiff, what was that running right by me?

So you're saying you're not all that upset about this move?
