He intimated that he was privy to inside information and wouldn't elaborate much, he just said that they had work out the contract. Until I see it in a press release from SC I'm not getting my hopes up. Fight On!

My guess it will be nearly the whole kit and kaboddle. This would be a welcomed development. Let Helton be a figurehead front man and have KK and others actually coach the team. On a slightly different note, has anyone commented on the fact that speed up "Air Raid" offenses mean more field time and plays for our defense. Can Clancy keep up? It will mean more substitutions and player combinations than he has heretofore seemed comfortable with. FYI, I think this was a really good hire. It will bring how we play into alignment with what the high schools are doing and the kinds of players their producing.

If we score a lot of points it will put pressure on the opponent offense to score more. This creates turnover opportunities for the defense. CCH and company severely undermined the offense under Sam by having him run down the clock on nearly every play to protect the defense. This with one of the most rhythmic QBs you'll ever find.
