    https://www.foxnews.com/politics/coronavirus-bill-350-million-for-migrant-refugee-assistance

    It was bad enough with the BS 25M to the Kennedy center, but this, fuck no.

    If I was Trump I would get on TV tonight and tell Americans exactly what is in the bill and why, that Democrats want to use this crises to spend 350M on non-Americans and are holding up much needed relief to them. That you cannot do it until it is only about supporting Americans and American companies. I would give out Pelosi's number to her office and tell Americans to call her and let them know what they think. Until its removed as well as the Centers 25M you cannot sign it. Encouraging pieces of shit legislators only means this will keep happening.

    Fuck China! Fuck Democrats!

    I'm also curious to see how much the House fucks it up even more.

    Time for people to wake up and see that NO politician is smart enough to pass aid bills.

    Eceeept for New York, the rest of the nation seems to be weathering the CV hysteria quite well. It begins to look like the 2T (less Dem gravy ) may be overkill. That's what we expect from our politicos who are anxious to pander to the public, especially in election years. I'm wondering if half the 2T wouldn't have been plenty.

    I have never seen any politician play for votes with other people money more than the Trumpster. Every american gets a check, even those who never lost an hour of work.

    liar.....

    I won't get a check, and I have lost 5 weeks of work......... and most of the people who voted for Trump last time will not qualify either. Even that idiot gogi suggested he is not getting one.

    It does seem a bit unfair that guys like exxxx, who contribute nothing, will get a check

    Ya, that is not true. It is weighted and many will get nothing even if they have lost some amount of income.
    How do you propose proving what you have lost in a practical way?

    * Tax credit rebates of up to $1,200 per individual and $500 per child that are phased out for taxpayers with AGI over $75,000 ($150,000 MJF and $112,500 HOH) and will be "rapidly advanced;"

    * The delay of employer payroll tax deposits for 2020 (50% due by December 31, 2021, and 50% due by December 31, 2022);

    * A refundable employer retention credit equal to 50% of qualified wages against quarterly employment taxes, to offset up to $10,000 of wages paid per employee in 2020;

    * The reinstatement of NOL carrybacks for the 2018–2020 taxable years, and repeal of the 80% taxable income limitation for the 2018–2020 taxable years;

    * A TCJA technical correction that classifies qualified improvement property as 15-year recovery period, allowing the bonus depreciation deduction to be claimed for such property retroactive as if it was included in the TCJA at the time of enactment;

    * Penalty-free withdrawals of tax retirement funds of up to $100,000 (income recognized over a three-year period);

    * A temporary waiver of RMD requirements in 2020;

    * The suspension of charitable contribution limits for 2020;

    * The deferral of excess business loss limitations until 2021;

    * An increase in the business interest deduction limitations from 30% to 50% of adjusted taxable income for the 2019 and 2020 taxable year;

    * An exclusion from income for employer-payments made on employee student loans paid before January 1, 2021;

    * The acceleration of the corporate credit for prior-year minimum tax liability, allowing 100% of the credit to be claimed in 2019 (2018 at the election of the taxpayer); and

    * A COD exclusion of small business loans forgiven under the Act.

    Looks like an attractive package for people still in business when the virus hysteria dies off.

    Do you notice....like NPD...when you prove this guy is lying or wrong, usually both...he never has the integrity to come here and admit it

    He was proven wrong about his claim that all Americans get checks....enormously wrong....but he has been back several times with additional bullshit and a lack of integrity....still has not owned it.

    Why are you all calling everything that is going on hysteria like its not a real thing? Sure the virus on kills about 3% but it can collapse a nation because we dont have the medial infrastructure to deal with 20% of those infected needing to be hospitalized. There are 14 million people in LA county. If 50% of the people get it and 20% need to be hospitalized thats 1.4 million people needing beds, and thats in LA county alone. That would mean a lot of people will die not because the virus is so deadly but because we dont have the means to treat everyone. Calling what is going on hysteria is irresponsible and misleading at best!

    Not a serious thinker here. It's pretty clear that the mortality is less than for a bad flu season. You don't seem to be following the science. Maybe this will make you feel better:

    There is a difference with CV-19 as compared to the more common flus. CV-19 was new and there was no vaccine for it, thus the entire population was/is vulnerable whereas with the known flu types only those without flu shots are considered vulnerable. It's still early, but perhaps we will be giving credit to the Trump 15 preventive measures for keeping the case rate and fatality rate as low as they are.
