The weather will be partly cloudy , cool and windy. The SC women look to be at full strength except for Lauren Williams in the sprints. They should get almost everyone qualified for the finals in two weeks. The men will be without Shinnick and chose not to enter any relay teams! aimeedee likes this.

Probably my favorite sport! During my USC Days (1970 - 1974) we use to travel to Drake Stadium at UCLA to watch the duel meets against the Bruins. Great competition back then....and yes I remember the big names during the meets...Smith, Collett, Butts, Stones, McCalister....but the one Bruin who would always worry me was Rory Kotinek. As I recall he "never" got a first place or set a school record,...but his seconds and thirds would ALWAYS pile up points for UCLA!!!! Many are called. Few are Trojan!!!

He chose Michael Norman. Mind you, we're in Illinois. I don't imagine a college track guy at USC gets that many fan letters from kids in Illinois. (He hadn't realized Norman moved on from USC, so not sure if the letter will ever track him down, no pun intended.) Last edited: May 25, 2019
