Miller can’t play this season at MD Troy70 Junior Member Joined: Aug 24, 2017 Messages: 9,267 Likes Received: 9,407 Jul 31, 2020 #1 Rule that his old coach can’t be his QB Coach at MD. Will this push him to enroll in January? TheTrojanKnight, Trojan Man 30, gubo&palanka and 3 others like this.

This rule has been put into place around 2008 ( I believe) when Kansas (basketball) hired a prospect's father to a coaching position, and then fired him months after his son declared for the NBA Draft. I mean the move still goes on, but it is something like the coach has to be on staff for a certain amount of time before/after the prospect arrives/leaves campus to avoid the whole poaching/recruiting optics. This is just Sondheimer and maybe some other bitter Mater Dei haters not acting like adults. Bryce had the exact situation with the same coach, transfer, and school, and all was approved.
