I know I have no basis to make this claim but if Tua comes back as people predict and now Bryce has to wait at least a year to compete for the starting job against a QB who will have three years in the program and has lit it up as a starter with Tua out, I have a crazy feeling that Bryce Young could come back to USC via the Transfer Portal in a year if not sooner.

I think it's a slight possibility but not if Helton is still the head coach. His father made it very clear that he was the reason Bryce went to Alabama.

Wouldn’t he wait the same time at both schools? Jones is a RS sophomore so he has 2 years of eligibility remaining Slovis, a true freshman, has to play 2 more seasons before he can turn pro.

I don't see BY coming back at all. He has more competition at USC and the coach/team are awful. Everything is better for him at Alabama.

The thing I noticed was when the game was still close Sabin went ballistic on his players for their lazy play and they responded by ratcheting it up a notch and left no doubt.

Clueless would be writing love letters.

Last time they met...52-6. Alabama. SC is far worse. Sarkisian will not take the foot off the pedal unless Nick tells him. We are gonna lose
    1) 2 qb's.
    2) the game by at least 40 points.
    3) any remaining national program recognition and relevance.
    Fire him Mr. Bohn. Now.

You think he’ll bail on Bama because he’ll have to sit a year behind Tua, but will come to SC where he’ll sit three years behind Slovis?

    smh

    Yeah, maybe a NC trophy.
Are you really this dense to not see having potential NFL players running all over the field is an advantage or are you just trying to save face for one of the most moronic posts I've seen? Wow, this even beats KeenObserver--and that's hard to do...

They aren’t winning shit this year.
Dense? You’re the one that thought you’d make a point about draft picks like that’s a clue on how a team performs. So who’s the dense one?

What I really find amusing is you now trying to act like you’re some sort of Einstein here by acting tough to try and cover your stupid comment about draft picks. Draft picks and the number of which no one really knows until the actual draft.
I for one never commented on Alabama’s talent so I thought your little rebuttal to KO was hilarious. Like the number of draft picks means automatic success or something.
I would take some time to reflect about you, the mirror, and the word dense.

Exactly - Saban calls all the shots and manages his staff like a good CEO and that is not going to change as long as he is there.

Sark is there only because he appears to work well for Nick in his job right now - if Nick felt otherwise he would fire Sark in a heartbeat and pick from the list of other OCs that would want to work with him at Alabama to polish their resumes with the glitter that falls off Saban's and Alabama's shoulders with continual 10+ win seasons.

All the more reason for USC to go out and get a head coach who can compete with the likes of a Saban or a Swinney or a Coach O or a Shaw or a Kelly.

Interestingly enough, here's Harbaugh's record during his 5 years at Michigan:

    1-10 as an underdog
    4-9 vs. rivals
    0-5 vs. tOSU
    1-4 in bowl games

Harbaugh is essentially the Big 10's Clay Helton

Which begs the question, at what point will Saban burn out?

That’s the only thing that will stop Bama.
