Stepp is a SEC type every down back that should be getting 20 carries a game. He won't get that here. He's not going to be easy to replace he runs like a hybrid fullback/RB. Not alot of dudes like him in the West Coast. Milton? but he's at Georgia now. I would imagine he would be getting alot of attention right now. Someone is going to snatch him up quick.

Jordan Wilmore why is he leaving Utah? That's a good target.

This God-forsaken year of 2020 has only three days to go, yet shit continues to happen.

Want to wish Stepp the best of luck. This is a sign of things to come with Claydo as our coach. Stepp was an extremely talented back that reminded me of Lendale. Claydo like always gets less with more because he is clueless with the talent he has. GH also gets an assist since he only wants to play 7–7 pass attack. They both suck. Hoping 2021 is the year of change. Fight On and Happy New Year ✌️

That will be an enormous loss at a position where you can't afford to lose anybody.

Yes he’s a prototypical every down back but he has problem with staying in shape and healthy. Injury bug has hit him since he was in HS. In 2019 he was out of shape and would take himself out of the game bc he was winded. If he wants to be an every down back he needs to be in excellent shape.

I wish him luck and it was probably best he moves on.

Very disappointed to hear this. Just what happens when you don’t make a commitment to running the ball. Wish him luck, wherever he goes he’ll be a star. Just wish it was here.

Do the coaches actually talk to their position group members? We lead the NCAA in an unfortunate category-transfers! Sick to death of the wasted talent that keeps exiting the team. We need running backs but Stepp was recruited under a different system. Now Harrell just wants to throw the ball over the yard with little regard to how running sets up the pass.

With all the transfers since Helton how many of those have succeeded at the next school and increased their chances of playing at the next level? JT is the only one I can think of.

I would expect Christon to leave also. A 10.3 sprinter. A lot of teams would want him. He had, what, ten carries this year?

He was of no use to the team with these idiots coaching it. I don't see how any big time running back prospect can consider USC.

"A STAR?" Maybe, but a long way to go.

He needs a run based offense where he doesn't have a lot of responsibilities in pass blocking, or catching the ball out of the backfield. Right now, that's not us. I had high hopes for him here. He was a load to bring down.

If we ran a true Air Raid where the goal is to get players in space, Christon would be a super star. Totally misused.

    Fuck. Lendale 2.0.
FUCK. We was destroying nd defenders and yet only ran the ball 10 times in 2019 against them. ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME.
Pete or Urban would have run him 25 times that game for 135 yards.
