#3 kiddo just started a PhD program at UMich, so I find myself rooting for the Wolverines, too. That isn't easy for me with Harbaugh. I've never been a fan of Coach Angry Eyes. Who would have guessed USC would have had the better performance on Saturday?

Didn't NC have some pretty serious violations swept under the rug a few years ago?

Why the hell is Academic Senate President Rebecca Lonergan on the search committee. Those libtards hate the football program and work against us with the Title IX Nazis all the time. And Caruso's on it too. Damn!!!

IMO, he would have to agree to resign or they could not say that. The conversation likely went something like, "Lynn, we need you to resign. Here's the package for you if you agree to resign. If you don't agree, we will fire you for cause and you won't get any of this."

Yes, and who do you think did the sweeping? Carol Folt! She was hired by the USC BOT for one reason, and one reason only: she was able to get UNC off scott free after their scandal. A much, much, more serious scandal than Reggie Bush's family living in a house rent free or 1990's sit com stars paying bribes to have their children admitted to the university.

UNC was found to have had, over a number of years, 190 "no show" classes with a total enrollment of 3,100 students (including members of the basketball teams) that obtained academic credit for doing little or no work. But, it turned out that not just athletes were receiving such credit, but non-athletes was well. So, Carol Folt argued that it was an ACADEMIC problem, and not an ATHLETIC problem, therefore, the NCAA had no jurisdiction. And heck if the NCAA didn't agree! UNC got ZERO sanctions for student-athletes receiving academic credit for doing basically nothing.

Folt stated that it was nothing but an "oversight" problem, and she corrected it be disciplining a total of 9 university employees. She failed to name the 9 employees (sighting employees privacy issues) and never gave details of exactly what the "discipline" entailed.

So that was it, as far as the NCAA was concerned there was nothing more to see here, move along. USC is expected to know the living arrangements of all the families of all of its' student athletes, and if not, lose 30 football scholarships. Yet, UNC can have no-show, no-work classes for its student-athletes, and it was OK, just so long as non-athlete students got the same perk.

That's probably not the reason she was hired as the President of USC.

But there are many here that like that she was willing and able to take on the NCAA

    Also funny.

You would have a fairly long line to stand in I'm afraid...
