Looks like Nancy Pelosi is going to have to send more Articles of Impeachment over to the Senate that will arise from further House impeachment inquiry/hearings in light of new evidence being uncovered by even more witnesses that have come forward concerning all this corruption surrounding Ukraine and the Trump administration's attempt to subvert U.S. democratic process involving our elections.

    From the Washington Post:

White House hold on Ukraine aid violated federal law, congressional watchdog says

    January 16, 2020 at 10:26 AM EST
The White House violated federal law in its hold on security aid to Ukraine last year, according to a decision by a congressional watchdog released on Thursday and reviewed by The Washington Post.

The Government Accountability Office, a nonpartisan agency that reports to Congress, found the Trump administration violated a law that governs how the White House disburses money approved by Congress.

The GAO decision comes as the Senate prepares for the impeachment trial of President Trump, a process set to begin Thursday.

“Faithful execution of the law does not permit the President to substitute his own policy priorities for those that Congress has enacted into law,” the decision states. “OMB withheld funds for a policy reason, which is not permitted under the Impoundment Control Act.”

It's 2020, do you think the republicans care. The senate will let him off, and Trump will run around telling the world he is 100% exonerated and the entire thing was a witch hunt. And the republicans will go with that, and that is pretty much the only people he tries to please.

    1) 6 of the 7 House managers stated publicly they wanted Trump impeached before the “whistleblower” came forward.

    2) At the time of the July phone call, Zelensky didn’t know the money was frozen. Can’t have a tit for tat without the tit.

    3) What did Trump get for holding back the aid?

    4) Why is there no outcry by the Left condemning Biden’s extortion of Ukraine, publicly bragging about how he forced Ukraine to remove the prosecutor who was investigating his son?

This coming from the same Lev Parnas who said that Devin Nunes was having meetings in Prague, then Vienna, then... oh never mind, all of that was proven as lies. Lev Parnas is less credible than Michael Avenatti, which is a pretty difficult bar to crawl under...

Yes or no, do you think it is ok for the president to withhold foreign aid to help his next election. It is a pretty simple question

    Very simple....2020 was never mentioned.
And yes, Ukraine did interfere with the 2016 election. They are one of the most corrupt countries on the planet. Right there with Mexico and Russia.

Yes or no...is it OK for a President to ask a foreign country to investigate whether a sitting VP took bribes?

Yes or no...is it OK for a VP (or Sec of State) to take bribes while in office, in return for giving favors?

The correct answer is, yes we know it is wrong and he did it, but we will ignore it because he is a republican. Follow the timeline, there is no doubt. If there is an issue with Biden there were dozens of legitimate ways to exploit the story, but that is not what he did. Trump tried to use leverage, just like he always does, but he did it illegally

The correct answer is yes, we know it is wrong, but since the bribe-takers are Dems, we will ignore it. See how this works?

As for Ukraine, sure, I'm fine with Biden being investigated. If he's not a crook, what's the problem?

2020 election was never mentioned in the phone call. Asking to investigate Biden’s kid who was being paid 85k a month to sit on the board of an extremely corrupt energy company, despite not speaking Ukrainian or Russian and having zero schooling or experience in energy is a major problem.

It should be applauded POTUS wanted that investigated.

I notice you still haven’t addressed any of my points.

    Amusing. Simply fucking amazing.

Reading the obtuse, vacuous ramblings of this newest shit stain, SC 1978, is a reminder of just how badly the public education system has failed America. .

At one point I believed that xuscx was the stupidest, most intellectually dishonest piece of shit to ever participate on this forum. This new shit stain, SC 1978, is making one hell of an attempt to prove me wrong.

The brand of ignorance exhibited by xuscx is almost impossible to achieve without experiencing a traumatic brain injury.

Congratulations, SC 1978, you have almost managed to unseat the King of hebetunious discussion.

    Fuck you both very much.

    Exactly.
I do not understand why any of this is a problem.

Because Dems will not tolerate having a spot light shone on their corruption.

    Inconceivable...

1 A lot of people want Trump impeached, so what

2 But the money was frozen

3 But the money was frozen

4 You are welcome to present your case for Hunter Biden, but that is not what the impeachment case is based on. Its based on with holding aid to help his election. You can not do that.

Uh, no. It's based on Hunter Biden. That was why the aid was allegedly frozen, so...can't be a trial without finding out if the investigation of Biden was warranted, can there? Obviously Hunter was Joe's bagman. This is not a "real" trial anyway--"high crimes" is whatever the Senate says it is--so Biden's history is a no-brainer.

The "obstruction" charge is the cute one. The alleged crime: Trump refused to defend himself by providing witnesses. That somehow is "obstruction." Try selling that one.

It is also relevant to the "trial" to ask about Joe's bragging about getting the investigation into Hunter (and himself) dropped. Not sure Dems really want to go down the "call witness" hole...

Remember the mantra during Clinton's impeachment: "everybody does it," or if you prefer, "everyone lies about sex." Shall we trot that one out again: "every politician does quid pro quos."
