    I understand it is a poignant issue, but the family didn’t specify the mental illness Max was suffering. If they truly want the public to understand the effects of CTE, I figured they would. Tragic all around.

    I have hiked that trail to the peak a couple times. It is quite strenuous. It was overcast out here on Saturday but you really need to wear long pants to avoid the poison oak.

    Both tragic and a blessing that he was with his parents..

    Article kinda implies that he died of heat exhaustion or insufficient hydration. I guess we’ll know fairly soon. Definitely tragic. These kids put everything they have into the game. Some also do the same with the academic side of their scholarships, but we need more to do that.
