I hope we win this season, so we don't have to possibly lose this speed and talent to a transfer. Because of a coaching change.

A losing season along with a coaching change would not be good for recruiting, so I absolutely agree. I’d much prefer we win big this season.

He easily would have made the U20 finals for Team USA.

They concluded tryouts this past weekend, but he’ll have the opportunity again, you’re right..

How are his hands? Kenan on wheel routes would simply be an unfair advantage...

“So Plan A, as his father calls it, is to play football for USC in the fall and run college track in the spring, and then see where he stands. Maybe do it again as a sophomore and a junior and a senior. Maybe play in the NFL and run in an Olympics.”

Nice find Pudly. I loved the quotes at the end of the article. Love humility and empathy in people:

He conspicuously doesn’t celebrate after each victory, instead turning to the competitors in his wake and making a point to shake each of their hands. Asked why, he shrugs and says: “Because I don’t want to be an a-hole.”

Later, he elaborates: “When I was younger and I would lose, people would celebrate and it would bring me down. I don’t know, it didn’t make me feel too good. Winning makes me feel good, but making sure I congratulate everyone else in the race knowing that they tried their best makes me feel even better.

“I’ll use Usain Bolt as an example. He wins all the time and he taunts. If you look and see some of the people in the back, they’re just like, dang, they feel so down on themselves. I would never wish that upon anyone. I would never want someone to feel like less than the person they are.”

    A father. A son. A boundless horizon.
