Looks like we made his first cut. Also surviving the cut was Alabama, Clemson, Oklahoma, Florida State, Washington, LSU, Oregon, Georgia, Florida,UCLA and Michigan.
Out of all the players we'v been able to land the past four years, and there has been many great ones, I want Kayvon the most. Best defensive linemen prospect since Clowney.

Which is going to mean it is going to be the biggest fight TO THE END to land this kid.
I wouldn't even be satisfied with a verbal, I want the LOI.

I saw him play in person vs Edison twice last season. Man among boys to say the least. Edison had a returning all-league player at LT & Kayvon went by and through him like he wasn't even there. He will be a force at the Pac-12 level from day 1.

To give you an idea of Thibodeaux's explosiveness, he is running the 100 meter and 4x100 meters on Oak Christian's track team this Spring.

He ran an 11.6 in the 100 meters a year ago at 6'5, 220/225lbs while at Dorsey HS.

SC is the leader in the club house by far, but SC is recruiting this kid like they are behind.

    Too valuable to do otherwise.

He says he'll know where he's going by this summer . . . but will announce at the all star games in Jan. 2019.

Can't wait to see this dude perform at the camps starting in March.

Given that we retain our DL coach......feel good about this relationship.

I am waiting for the next dominant defensive star here at USC on the DL.
Since Williams, we haven't had that guy.
Green/Rector/Fatu/Tuipulotu/Pili all showed flashes, but I want the kind of presence that teams gameplan to stay away from.

No. You are probably thinking of De'Gabriel Floyd.

With Gustin moving on to the NFL next year, a spot opens for Kayvon to walk in and start for the next 4 years. He's got to know that.

We really need to lock his commitment up and make him the cornerstone of the 2019 class. Defensive ends like Kayvon change the entire game plan for opposing teams. They'll have to bring a TE or RB over to help or they'll have to run their offense to the other side of the line to stay away from him. He's a game changer.

    For the next 3 years.

I'm afraid that's the mentality now.
