I think Helton and Co. have gone with Neilon because he is just a little bit better at making the right calls/reads at the line. If they were going off play alone, then there's absolutely no way you start Neilon over Dedich, much less either of the two guards. Even when he has come in cold off the bench, Dedich has played much better than Neilon. I guess that's why he has also posted much higher PFF grades. Not having Dedich on the field these past two seasons is just negligent. Helton has always had a backwards and biased way of doing things personnel-wise. Cardinal&Gold likes this.

He clearly will be shaped a bit in the weight room once he gets on campus, but Maximus is a guy who actually handles that weight pretty well. KeckTMB and Troy70 like this.
