I think Simon has some Su’a Cravens in him. Su’a could have played running back or wide receiver at USC. Simon is bigger and more of a linebacker first, where Cravens was a safety first. But I’m looking forward to seeing how Simon is utilized on defense.

A 3.73 cumulative GPA in HS is amazing!
I don't pay attention to the grades as much.
Look at the comments that his teachers had to say about him.
THAT is where you really find out what the teacher(s) think about him as a student.

Sua was great, but I don't remember him having hands like this guy.

Su'a was pretty dominant as a 7-on-7 receiver. His senior year he caught 26 passes for 404 yards and eight touchdowns for a team that ran the ball a ton. He had three interceptions as well. Would have been fun to see them play at the same time.

I guess the fact that you're comparing him to Sua is a big positive.

Yeah, just due to their locations, obviously I’m much more familiar with Su’a, as I saw him in person a bunch. But he never put up the receiving numbers Simon has in high school. I’m excited about this kid. I think he has a chance to be really good.
