I can tell you unequivocally that Drevno is going to have a lot to say about all of the offense.

Hope it won't be a "to many cooks in the kitchen type situation", but i guess Tee knows him more then he knew Tyson.

My thought as well. Plus, Michigan's offense was a mess last year.... Granted their QB play was awful.

Speaking very generally, Drevno was not thought of a brilliant offensive mind in A2. IMO, however, he can be a helluva position coach.

Needless to say, your comment re QB play for Michigan was spot-on (perhaps even kind, lol). All three QB's last year were, indeed, awful. Sure, they were good enough to beat inferior teams, but definitely not good enough to beat teams with comparable talent. Add to that mediocre offensive line play and...well one gets the picture of Michigan offense, 2017.

Yep, The Jude Dude is a big boyyyy!

I think he almost became an offensive tackle, but transformed his workouts to get a better body. Worked!

You can put that on Jim and Pep Hamilton. Since they dictated the bulk of that gameplan.

Even when Greg Roman was calling plays under Harbutt's watch his offenses were never very explosive. I believe Tim Drevno was not put in a good position to be successful at Michigan and it showed in his inability to command an entire offensive unit. Maybe this 2nd stint with USC will give him another chance to reevaluate his approach to offensive game planning.

I don’t think it should be that hard to run our offense this season.
We have three VERY capable RBs that should command 45-50 touches in the running game alone.
From there you mix in the play-actions and use ALL options in the passing game (including the TEs) and our regular pass plays (roughly 25 PA/game) and we should be able to move the ball efficiently.

That even hits the 80 play mark that HCCH wants us to run.
Don’t overthink it, use the thoroughbreds we have, and make it VERY easy on our QB and OC.
