Any chance he and Steele flip some of the Oregon commits?

Appreciate all your posts. Good luck to Jason this season

With Schirmer added and 3 years to play, that will hurt our chances with Jonah. I wish the staff hadn’t of taken him

Nope, that ain't gonna be a factor with Jonah.

And since when are we hesitant when SC adds an offensive linemen to the team?

Jonah is announcing his Top 5 on Friday the 10th.

It's a list, not a commitment. Right now, the floats are leading.

    This is huge.

I am perennially baffled why USC doesn't recruit IMG Academy out of Braedenton, Fl harder. They had 11 kids go to D1 schools last year and currently have 5 kids ranked in the Rivals top 100. Evan Neal is a beast.

I don’t know if i see him as better than what we have as back-ups right now. With that opinion, i would rather take Jonah if Schirmer causes us to lose him...in the end i really want them both and Ryhan

Again, why would Schirmer cause SC to lose Jonah?

    This isn't an either/or issue.

First, these guys are not coming into SC in the same year.

Second, there are multiple positions on the OLine . . . so one guy committing doesn't scare off anyone else.

Third, Jonah is basing his decision on where he and his family feel most comfortable . . . not other prospects.

Saw Jonah at the Baked Bear ice cream shop at Village. Looks like he is ready to be a Trojan.

There are more than a few college coaches who don't like IMG's business model and recruiting strategies that pull kids from the local high schools down to that Academy.

Some have been vocal about it . . . others have remained quiet.

We've seen a few kids from California transfer to IMG.

You don't see SC pursue them.

Most of those IMG kids are there to get the highest bidder. SC should stay as far away from that Prep School as possible. Let the SEC and Big Ten fight over them.
