OSU fans everywhere are jumping for joy and licking their chops.

PS - I'll join you in the "clearly know nothing about football group" based on that decision!!!

This again points to the realization that who is out there that is better? I know a lazy AD? Herman, Malzahn, amongst those choices, I too would stick with Harbaugh!
    Fight On!

I never thought Harbaugh would flame out that bad at UM. He is their Helton now. Except Harbaugh actually earned the job with a resume of accomplishments

OSU fans are cheering for this like UCLA/Oregon fans cheered when SC gave Clueless Clay an extension.

I read the article, the buyout is very low. They can dump him whenever and not be out much $. Also, I think he's only making something like $4M per year (pay reduction) and is loaded w/ bonuses if he wins conf/NC.

It was a fair offer and arrangement for a program that didn't want to discard one of their more famed alum and start over. This could be Brian Kelly redo, but not while UM has tOSU always hanging over them.

Next year will make/break for both Harbaugh and Franklin. The covid-bye season will be over.

Anyone who follows Michigan football care to share reasons why he's flopped so badly at his alma mater? He's obviously been a winner in college (at Stanford, and earlier, at USD) and in the pros with the 49ers. I thought his style would definitely bring Michigan back to at least the rugged type of team they were under Bo Schembechler/Lloyd Carr.

That's why it is good to remember there is no such thing as a "sure thing" hire.
