Some people called this. This sucks. I usually wish success to players that leave us but it would be hard to root for Jay. I hope he plays great against other teams but not against us.

    I guess the check cleared.
This is simply Nansen’s payback for getting the boot.
I feel sorry for the kid. I understand different cultures have different standards and ways of doing things, but this is just sad.

If there ever was a clear example of player tampering by a coaching staff this is it. Too bad that USC won't fight it nor will the NCAA look into it.

This is a result of the toxic program Claydo has built and a kid seeing the culture with his own eyes. It sucks he transferred to FUCLA but maybe the wheels will finally fall off the bus this season resulting in Claydo’s dismissal. Currently the program is a dumpster fire. There is no Team the offensive staff is abysmal and the defensive staff is just ok. If there was tampering we would need proof…..are you surprised? Claydo axed 14 assistants to save his own hide…….you knew eventually one of the 14 ghosts may come back to haunt Claydo. That ghost at the moment may be Nansen. Claydo gets what he deserves. So does Coach Folt and her lap dog Bohnerino. We will hit lows this year we have never seen before Claydo was saved last season by COVID-19. Fight on!!

"Lows not seen before"? Are you predicting worse than 5-7 this year.

Also, are you suggesting that Chip is running a better program right now?

Look Clay has no business being our coach, but some of this comments are out of hand.

Does this not blow Jay Toia's original explanation out of the water when he blamed covid for limiting his opportunities to visit other schools? bRuins are in the same geographical area as USC. His ability to visit - familiarize himself with them was no different from his ability to do same at USC. Originally I could understand him feeling like he cut short the recruitment process due to covid and really didn't get to "shop" other schools. This move weakens that argument.

Couple things that should be looked into 1) Nansen on-going recruiting after student-athlete was enrolled into school at USC 2) What happened at USC that was so egregious that Toia would throw in the towel and transfer. These two are not mutually exclusive considerations. They could have been very complimentary

the storyline that Covid prohibited visits would have made sense if he'd gone elsewhere. But Westwood? Sorry.

Do the Trojans not have the right to punish the situation for a year? if so I hope they exercise it. can not let these kids weasel themselves out of schools without paying some price.

How much experience does Nansen have coaching the D-line?

I hope they move Benton back inside, watching the Donte mic'd up video, he looks like he has the size to make it work. (2:50ish mark)

It seems to me that Toia was not happy with SC's football culture and was promised a better one by Chip/Nansen. Hey the kid is entitled to go wherever he feels good. Of course we don't want him to impact the games against us. We'll see how that goes. It does require an audit as to the culture that might have pushed others to be unhappy.

If you were a DL wouldn’t you want to play next to KForeman and DJackson? Head scratcher decision and will just have to see how he pans out for him.

We need Paul Harvey to tell us the rest of the story...

We're not going to like the rest of the story; the first bit of is bad enough.

Was his relationship with DL coach that bad & Nansen never gave up. If he went to ducks I would figure $$$. Anyone hear ruins have a money man? I have not
