ESPN has dropped the ball in terms of scouting. The other site has a better grasp on evaluation of HS.

If I remember correctly, I remember someone saying that Dart goes to the same HS as the current BYU QB so the RUMOR is that BYU is in the driver's seat.
I saw somewhere else that this is supposed to be a BYU/USC/UCLA battle.

“I’d like to commit soon,” Dart said. “I think right now it’s hard with us just starting the playoffs and my school term being over soon, so my mind is in a lot of places right now. Adding to that I’ve just been doing my research on schools, I don’t really have a time frame but I’m thinking November after a couple weeks of the Pac-12 season. I thought it would be harder to make a decision with the Pac-12 not playing but, with them playing now, that’s going to be really big in my decision.”

Sounds to me this kid wants to hit the waves in his spare time, No can do at Utah or BYU. SC is the perfect world,,,

I think USC will at least make it interesting. It's going to be tough to beat BYU with what they're doing and having Zach Wilson put up the season he's putting up right now. He's still a huge name at Corner Canyon.

He's a top target for UCLA in this class as well.

    I'm intrigued .......
Let's say he commits or at least wants to commit to USC.
    What happens at that point?
The staff isn't taking 3 for this class.

It does sound like the notion of it being a BYU/USC/UCLA battle is making a lot more sense.
Our season being cancelled made it seem like he was all-BYU.

Once the PAC-12 season got started, I think that is what is making him pump the brakes a bit.
The question for me is which PAC-12 school is the PRIMARY school that has him pump his brakes?
Yes I would love to say USC, but looking at depth charts (if that matters to Dart), UCLA might be a better spot for him.
I do not want to disrespect anyone, but if I were a QB and I wanted to play, I would be looking at UCLA.
Now if playing was not that big of a deal, then I would be all in for USC.

I watched a highlight video of Dart a couple days ago, and I get that he is good. But I wonder based on the highlights just how good. He is not exactly playing against Bosco or Mater Dei. The guys both on his team and the opponents looked like Pop Warner players.

It's always a question with Utah quarterbacks (many Washington ones as well). Cooper Bateman and Austin Kafentzis were two highly-rated Utah guys where things did not work out. On the other hand, things seem to be going well for Zach Wilson at BYU.
