Still a lot of guys to come through, but currently USC Alum, Jamie Lovemark, is tied for the lead at 5 under at The Northern Trust --which is the first playoff event of the Fed Ex Cup.

Jamie started the Playoffs in 86th place.

The top 100 players after this weekend will advance next week to the Dell Technologies Championship.

Round One is in the books and Jamie is tied for the lead with three other players at 5 under par. The high round of the day was from Stewart Cink at 7 over par.

    Good Start for the Trojan.

This is definitely Jamie Lovemark's best start in a fed ex cup playoff event.

After Round 2, he is still tied for the lead at 10 under par. But now he is tied with only one other player - two-time major winner, Brooks Koepka.

Unfortunately, Round three was an all too common Saturday let down...with a two over par 73. He's 8 strokes behind the leader...but only 4 strokes behind second place.

DeChambeau had an amazing 63 today to build a four stroke lead over the nearest competitor.

Jamie had a huge opportunity to make his year this week end but he didn't come through. Even par this week end would have set him up for the rest of the play offs. He still needs a lot of work on his mental game I guess.

Exactly. The mental game needs some work. While the top players are elevating their game on the weekends, newbies like Jamie and Beau Hossler are struggling to maintain their focus.
